Well, we just got back from our second annual bike trip to San Diego. Thanks
to all the folks who put us up and occasionally fed us this trip: Bob &
Jill, Dave, Charlie, Reg and Teresa and finally Pat and Bob in Tucson.
Our first big stop was in Tucson, where gun control, means be careful where
you point that thing. Here we see Joan out trying to rustle up some food for
breakfast, Tucson style.

From Tucson, we rode all the way to San Diego, 350 miles. We rode the full
length of I-8 with just a quick stop at Yuma for a swim in the Rio Colorado.
In San Diego, we were able to visit the zoo where we saw rare giant pandas
and a not-so-rare lazy meerkat
On the way home, we cruised through the hottest part of the desert at the
hottest time of the day. Once we got to Kingman things cooled off. From there
we sampled some of Route 66's finest.
If you every get the pleasure of visiting Seligman, AZ be sure to visit Juan
Delgadillo's world famous Snow Cap.

These folks understand good food and fun. Notice the sign "Tacos, Malts,
Burritos & Dead Chicken". These guys are there to entertain tourists
as well as feed them. If you ever visit, it's likely you won't even get in
the door before you fall prey to their first gag.
Motorcycling is Dangerous

Check local conditions before riding and always look out for dinosaurs and
really big Indians.
